If you want to check .it

whois.ripe.net works

-- maybe i'm missong something insettings mind you about ^available

I don't understand what you are needing assistance with.

This is as clear as I can make it (from the Whois admin panel):
If you want to make the script assume the domain is unavailable unless the keyword is found, place ^ in front of the keyword. Regular expressions are acceptable. This is CaSe SeNsiTive.

The NS Validator portion of the admin panel allows you to test certain settings for the purpose of troubleshooting and seeing what the responses of certain servers are.

I was just noting for other users that if anyone wants to offer a domain check for .it extensions they should use whois.ripe.net and not whois.isoc.org.il. With the default settings in the script whois.isoc.org.il will always show any .it as available even if it is taken.
