Just a quick question. Is it possible for the script to generate images other than just an avatar? Thanks

Actually, the script doesn't generate the avatars but rather it uses the built in functionality of the forum script to get the avatar.

Depending on the forum (as they differ of course), the script will pull down the database information pertaining to the user avatar. With this information, the script will either display the avatar directly (such as http://www.mysite.com/forum/images/avatars/someavatar.gif ) or it will display the avatar via forum's own avatar display script (such as http://www.mysite.com/forum/avatar.php?id={userid} where {userid} is the id of the user).

Therefore, the script does not "generate" any images, but uses the existing settings of the avatar in conjunction with the forum's built in avatar displays.

As for displaying other images... I am not really sure what you are asking for. Could you provide a URL to your news page and forum post that illustrates what you are wanting?
