This may be completely stupid or totaly ingenious :D So, don't think I reinvented the wheel on this one... this is only a potential solution !

Patiek,

I had to think about it, as my members kept asking for this more and more ! So here's a solution :

We redirect both forum and CSM to a webpage like http://www.mysite.com/loginsuccess.php and this webpage would have the following text :

YOU WERE SUCCESSFULLY LOGGED IN... What do you want to do ?

>>> Go to The front site
>>> Go visit the forum
>>> Logout ?

And so the user will choose and not get redirected to the forum or CMS automaticly !!!!!!

:ph34r: Tell me what you think about it ?

Fine, I'll add in some optional redirect value to my next version.

but wouldn't that upset some visitors? if you can redirect to that page, then why not simply redirect everyone to the frontpage of e107 instead, no matter if they logged in from the portal or the forum :blink:

... or maybe just redirect them to the page were they logged in from, maybe thats more complicated but it just ocurred to me that vBulletin does that when you log out. (not too sure though) :rolleyes:

I said I would put in a function that allows you to redirect to whereever.

Patiek, I don't feel like upgrading anymore my installation for a while now (as long as it's working)

Can you show me how to change the redirection to a page I'll create myself ????

Thanks ! :P
