Specific Feed Character Limit & RSS Output

I've been trying to get this script to output the headlines from one of my forums into an RSS file, with mixed success. The problem is that topic summaries (description) can't be character limited without applying the same limit to all of my feeds, the only other solution would be to install a second copy of forum-news specifically for RSS but that's a little excessive.

This is a feature that has been missing for some time.

The good news is that the next version of EP-Dev Forum News uses Smarty that allows for such functionality. The bad news is that the next version of the script is not ready for beta.

Modifying the code is difficult as well because of the order in which text is parsed. I will think about a possible solution for the current code.

I guess in the meantime I'll just cut out the description field and go with headlines only.
