This may be possible by using the "headlines" output of the EP-Dev Forum News script. It will definitely be possible with the next version.


Aside from that it would be as simple as someone putting in some code into some plugin file. You should try it out.

Yes, alot went into EP-Dev Forum News 2.0. It required a completely new rewrite and a system that would allow for easy expansion / updates. Apparently it worked, as in no time I was releasing the all-important version 2.1, which added support for caching pages and thereby saving many sites on thousands of queries as well as wasted time.

Right now I am working on my EP-Dev Whois script that should sponsor a similar construction of code.

As I suggested a while ago in this thread, I recommend using the EP-Dev Forum News script that I already created. It comes with the ability to recognize any major forum software and comes with templates that can be used to modify the output to look however you like.

It does news and/or headlines with configurable display & tags. For example, your problem (if you were using my script) would be solved by simply modifying the template to be a table.
