MySQL error on line 47

I'm having problems with this excellent script, which used to work on my site. I then switched hosts and reinstalled the script, however, now I keep getting

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home2/arbites/public_html/forum-news/data/classes/mysql.php on line 47
There is no news to display in specified category.

I'm certain the script is set to the correct forum.

As I got no reply what-so-ever, I've ditched this script.

Good as it was, a script with no support is no use to me.

Now to fix the error with my new script..

I was away. Seems companies want me to pay my bills on time.

I would have told you to check your news category.

Also, the old script is all over the place. I plan on releasing a new script within the next two weeks that is completely recoded and includes avatar / multiple forum support.

It works great at the moment, I just don't have the admin section coded. If you want I can PM you and you can simply edit via the config files or wait until I release it officially (with admin section).

That'd be brilliant, as my new script is having problems too, and I really can't be asked to fix it. Your script was good when it worked!

Also, will it include RSS support?

Technically the script has RSS support, but not as the script comes as default. For example, the new template system allows for multiple templates, allowing one to specifically format the news to reflect RSS dialect.

I guess I will implement it now. I will send you a PM of a copy of the latest script, without admin panel and without RSS support.
