    Show single post

The script cannot, currently, pull a single (specific) post and format it.

I might try to add in this functionality.

I'll see if I can put it in the next version. I do not know when that will be.

This would definately be very handy for me too. (Working on tutorial database)

Also, I really like this script because it supports my favourite forum, myBB. Not much developers willing to devote time to relatively new software out there.

This is already possible with a little PHP modification, but most people do not know how to make such modifications.

It is a feature request and as such it is considered for new versions. There haven't been any new versions since this feature was requested. There is a version waiting to be released (that has been waiting since last year). However, it needs a bit more to be complete before it is released. There are also other projects that I am working on and of course all of my own jobs that support me financially come first before all of the above.

This version hasn't been released yet, but so far:
FIXED BUG: Fixed a bug that caused enabled but inactive forums to be called when forum 0 alone was called (http://www.dev-forums.com/index.php?showtopic=229).
IMPROVED: Improved some logic in error output where script no longer kills PHP on certain errors (such as no posts in category).
ADDED FEATURE: Added supported for Invision Power Board (IPB) 2.1.x. The 2.0.x module broke the smilies of 2.1.x.
ADDED FEATURE: The script can now use the cache on file when the data source is down. This will allow websites to continue operating even if, for example, MySQL is offline.
IMPROVED: Modified connection settings of all data sources. MySQL connections are now only established when they are needed.
FIXED BUG: A bug resulting in excessive cache writing when cache is disabled has been fixed.
IMPROVED: The character limit now detects word boundaries and does not cut off in the middle of a word.
IMPROVED: Improved line break fix feature to retain case and be case insensitive.
I will also likely implement this feature request as well before it is released. However, you must understand that there is a lot of stuff that I am working on not only for EP-Dev, but also for my own financial stability. I have not lost interest in this project like I have for CMS Forum Members Hack (and even though I have lost interest in that project, I am still working on that script).

There will be some new features in the next release and the admin panel will likely be touched up a little as well.
