I am guessing that you are referring to the Whois Script.
I will try to add additional help within the script in the next release.
I have tried to make the whois admin panel as easy and as intuitive as possible. I did do a bit of planning in coming up with a way to display settings in a meaningful manner.
The EP-Dev Whois Script does have a little bit of power in order to allow customization in several areas, which can cause problems for people who haven't had a lot of PHP experience.
All of the extension / nameserver settings can be found on the "Edit Nameservers" page.
Each nameserver can have multiple extensions associated with it. Additionally, each nameserver can be enabled or disabled for that nameserver. For this reason, you will see many green (enabled) and red (disabled) extensions listed on the page.
To Enable / Add an extension
1. Go to the "Edit Nameservers" page.
2. Use your browser's search function (Press Control + F) to search for an extension. For example, to search for .com search for "com".
3. If you find it... Click on "Show/Hide Settings" of the nameserver under which it is listed. The settings will open up and you will now have the opportunity to check the box next to the extension, thus enabling the extension. You will also need to ensure that the domain is enabled, which can be found in the drop down box next to "Show/Hide Settings".
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Save Config".
If you did not find the extension in step three, you will need to do a bit more work. I put in a lot of extensions to start but not all. In the event that an extension isn't already in the script, you will need to either:
a) Add it under the appropriate nameserver.
- or -
B) Add a new nameserver for the extension.
To find out more information about the extension that you want to use, you will need to either search www.google.com or look for it on http://www.iana.org/ . Once you find its whois server, you can go into the script and add the nameserver (if it doesn't already exists), or add the extension to the appropriate nameserver (if the nameserver already exists in the script, but doesn't have that extension associated with it).
As for your PayPal issue, I cannot help you. I can only accept money through Paypal and major credit cards (through paypal website).
If you are looking to donate through other means, consider buying some webhosting for a month from http://www.proto-host.com .
