full whois info

Hi i am using your script on my website and i have customized it quite alot, i am wanting to display the full whois information but i dont want to upgrade to the new version of the script, is their anything i can do to show the rest of the whois information? Or is their any code you can give me to replace?

Eh, the classes/engine.php file was heavily modified from earlier versions. You could *try* a simple file replacement for that single file, but I doubt that will work.

What did you heavily modify? The new version supports external header / footer files that can now be used instead of including the script in pages (which you can still do if you like) or manually editing classes/display.php file.

While the display.php file has been updated as well in the new version, it has not been heavily modified (rather, the changes mostly include the addition of new template possibilities for the image verification, etc). You could probably easily copy over any modifications you made, if they are still needed.

The new version is well worth the upgrade as it includes many new features (full whois reports, image replacements for emails of full reports, image verification, better suggested domains support, etc) and support for internationalized domain names. There are also many bug fixes (some that could cause config.php file corruption even).

This was a big release. Even though the core structure was not changed, alot of bugs were fixed and alot of features were implemented.
