Help needed with installation

I am certain I followed the installation directions exact, but for some reason every time I type in a domain name to check the status, it always comes up that the domain is taken when I check on register.com and it is available. Could you advise on what I may have done wrong?

Check the keyword for the server that is being asked. For example, the keyword for the server whois.crsnic.net should be "No match". All of these values should be working fine with the default install of the whois script. What does the whois report from the script give you?


Also, you may want to consider downloading an official version from www.ep-dev.com if you got your version from elsewhere. Some people have purposely modified and redistributed our scripts in the past to prevent them from working (although this is unlikely your problem).
